Our Trulli
You will be spoiled for choice when selecting beaches to visit while in Puglia. Our trulli provide easy access to either the Adriatic Sea beaches (east coast, 20-25 min along country lanes) or the Ionian Sea beaches (west coast, 40 min along country lanes). Here are 10 of our favourites:
Costa Merlata (Adriatic)
40°46'25.3"N 17°39'07.3"E
A series of Adriatic coves, close to Ostuni. Park your car at Paragraph 25 (beach bar). A series of 6-8 coves heading south beginning at Paragraph 25 and ending at Torre Pozzella, which has another chilled out beach snack bar.

Torre Guaceto Marine Protected Area (Adriatic)
40.711069, 17.788594
Pack a picnic lunch and refreshments because Torre Guaceto is a marine protected area without facilities but with calm seas, excellent snorkelling and a long white cresent-shaped beach. Parking is just off the motorway and you will need to either walk (15min) or take the jitney to the beach. Walk an additional 45 min south along the beach to find the naturist and gay areas.

Coccoro Beach Club (Adriatic)
40.895495, 17.373662
If you are looking for a more refined beach experience, Coccoro Beach Club is the place. Refreshment service to your sun lounger on the beach and an very good restaurant for lunch. The glamour does come at a cost as this is one of the most expensive beach clubs in the area.

There is a pretty beach right along the town wall but travel 2km south outside of town to the 'Baia Verde' section to find crystal clear waters that rival Carribean beaches, stretches with and without beach clubs.

A regular stop on the Red Bull Cliff Diving circuit, Polignano a Mare is a picturesque town in its own right. But it's famous beach, nestled in a ravine surrounded by century's-old homes dripping from the cliffs is what really makes this a 'must see' spot.
